James Ron - Where do Federal employees work in the US?

With all the current talk of cutting the 2.3 million-strong federal workforce in the US, I was amazed to see this graphic in today's New York Times:

The overwhelming majority work in defense-related jobs. In the US, the "federal government" is focused on hiring men and women working with and around guns.

These are the kinds of employees that MAGA supporters should love.
